Living in modernity can be exhausting, despite all the modern promises of progress and liberation. The rising cases of mental health breakdowns and panic attacks express this exhaustion. Yet, we long for hope in the face of these dark clouds and search for mental wholeness remains alive. Come explore over dinner and discussion, the unique claims and perspectives of Christianity and Islam as it relates to our journey to mental wholeness and our longing for healing.
Between Cities aims to create a public forum for thoughtful engagement between Christianity and the life of the university and to pursue the good, the true, and the beautiful in every field of study and vocation. In the spirit of St. Augustine, we aim to bring together reason and faith, fact and value, the cities we live in now and the eternal City toward which we look in hope.
