A conversation on navigating grief, hope, and friendship after loss
In the wake of December’s shooting, many on Brown’s campus are asking questions about healing and life in community: how do we navigate friendship when everyone is processing their grief in different ways? What is the difference between coping and healing after trauma? Are there narratives or beliefs that can orient and connect us to something larger in this time? Join the Brown Veritas Forum community for dinner and a moderated practical, pastoral conversation on these questions, followed by audience question and response.

A conversation on the meaning and purpose of work in the age of AI
As students facing an uncertain future filled with new technologies, it’s worth asking: what is the meaning of work when AI is in the picture? Where can we find meaning if AI can replace us in our jobs? Is work even part of a purpose-filled life in the first place?
All are welcome to join us for a conversation across worldviews on these questions and more. This will be a moderated conversation followed by audience Q&R.
