Dawn Eden

Dawn Eden, a Jewish-born rock journalist turned committed Christian, will share how she discovered “the thrill of the chaste” as a single woman in New York City. In the 1990s, Dawn wrote regularly for Salon, Billboard, and Mojo and penned liner notes for over 80 compact-disc reissues. She lived the lifestyle later popularized by “Sex and the City” yet found herself deeply dissatisfied. After a dramatic conversion to Christian faith in 1999, Dawn began to embrace chastity as a way of life. For Dawn, chastity is not simply a “no” to sex, but a “yes” to living out all the graces one has been given by God as a human being made in God’s image. Dawn is the author of The Thrill of the Chaste: Finding Fulfillment While Keeping Your Clothes On (2007) and she is the deputy news editor at the New York Daily News. For more info on Dawn and her book, see http://www.thrillofthechaste.com  or her blog at http://www.dawneden.com/blogger.html.
