Tent Exhibit

10:00am. Wilson Plaza (bottom of Jan steps)

The tent exhibit will be open on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 10:00 am - 10:00 pm.

This audio-visual walk-through exhibit invites each person to step out of their own daily lives, and into the life of one of three children in Africa, witnessing the real ways in which AIDS, poverty, and all that results, has affected them, their families, and communities. The tent is not just about awareness however; it also invites each person to find out how they can take action by responding emotionally, spiritually, and/or practically.

Acting on AIDS

Faith's Response to Injustice

6:30pm. Moore 100
Leader in International AIDS Advocacy--WorldVision, Acting on AIDS.
Vice President--WorldVision, Acting on AIDS.

Whether we experience it or not, all are confronted by the very real issues of global poverty, the AIDS Pandemic, gender inequality and various forms of social injustice. The real question is what do we have to say, or more relevantly, DO in addressing these human challenges? Is faith really a quaint notion for the feebly minded or are people of faith wired to help bring solutions to some of humankind's most vexing problem? Please join us as we hear the perspectives of Princess Zulu and Steve Haas.

This same presentation will be given again at 8:30 this evening.
