Sonia Lee is Assistant Professor and Director of the Honors Program for the Department of History at Washington University in St. Louis.  Sonia's recent publications include "Building a Latino Civil Rights Movement: Puerto Ricans, African Americans, and the Pursuit of Racial Justice" (Chapel Hill: The University of North Carolina Press, 2014).   In 2013, she was awarded the National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Stipend and in 2014 the John W. Kluge Fellowship from the Library of Congress.  Ms. Lee earned her B.A. from University of California, Berkeley and her Ph.D. from Harvard University.
