Philip V. Scribano, DO, MCSE, is an attending physician and director of Safe Place: The Center for Child Protection and Health at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and program director of the Child Abuse Pediatrics Fellowship Program. He received his medical degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, and he did his pediatrics residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA and a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He has been in practice for more than 20 years and his areas of expertise are epidemiology of child abuse, Interventions to address child maltreatment risks, technology use in healthcare, and medical education.
