Dr. Krishnendu Roy received his Ph.D. in Biomedical engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and currently is on faculty at Georgia Institute of Technology as the Director of the Center for ImmunoEngineering at Georgia Tech and a Principal Investigator.

The overall goal of Dr. Krishnendu Roy's Laboratory of Cell and Macromolecular Engineering is to achieve a basic understanding of how the immune system responds to genetic manipulations and how cellular fate is decided based on microenvironmental cues. He seeks to help find novel treatments for diseases through his research, as well as better understand the fundamentals of genetic manipulations, cell differentiation and cell-cell interactions.
