A Seattle native, Dr. Kaczor graduated from Boston College in 1992 and holds MMS and Ph.D degrees from the University of Notre Dame. Following his doctorate, Dr. Kaczor worked in Germany at the University of Cologne as an Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Federal Chancellor Fellow, and returned there for as a Fulbright scholar from 2002-2003. Dr. Kaczor is a noted author of eight books and a prominent commentator on issues of ethics, philosophy, and religion for newspapers, radio stations, and national television. He is currently Professor of Philosophy in the Bellarmine College of Liberal Arts at Loyola Marymount University, where he specializes in bioethics and the philosophy of Thomas Aquinas.
