The Days of Genesis
UCLA, 2001
The Veritas Forum
Summary: Reconciling the findings of astronomy and geology to the creation account of Genesis is usually done by one of two methods—arguing for an “appearance of age” or from a stance of young-Earth creationism. Lee Irons, however, argues that the Genesis creation narrative is more appropriately interpreted not as a literal account, but rather as a literary framework intended for instruction. Revealing many of the flaws in the more common answers to the challenges of science, Irons gives not only strong credence to the “framework hypothesis” but also addresses the issues of scriptural exegesis and the types of revelation.

Lee Irons really digs deep inside the Genesis account. Quite inspiring. Thanks
