Bill Edgar is outstanding, and this "Heaven in a Nightclub" routine is especially compelling. Edgar has been presenting it around the country for years, and like a good jazz musician, he does it a little differently each time. Sometimes he uses recordings to illustrate his lecture. This recording is of him lecturing and playing solo piano. A professional recording of this routine with a quartet featuring Grammy Award winning bassist John Patitucci among others is available at http://cdbaby.com/williamedgar.
