Timothy J. Keller is a testament to the evolution of Christianity. His view of hell, for instance, is much gentler and civilized than that of the church 1,000 years ago. He's lucky to live in such a democratic, liberal, open minded time, otherwise I'm sure he would have been burnt at the stake. I truly hopes he can convert more of his fellow Christians to his view, especially those who still believe in the traditional teachings of the church. Of course, I would like him to give up his devotion to the Bible all-together, but I doubt he's that open minded.
