Can We Be Good Without God?
Georgia Institute of Technology 2008

Summary: Internationally acclaimed religious scholar, theologian, and philosopher, Dr. William Lane Craig will speak to us on the topic of religion's interaction with morality. Is this a serious issue? Can we be moral beings without a God? Dr. Craig address these issues, and also takes questions at the end of his lecture.
Topics: Evil, Existence of God, Humanity, Ethics

The questions I would like to ask are these: If there is a god from which goodness is derived, how should humans discover that which is good and that which is not, in an epistemological sense? What would be the difference in this process if there were not a god from which goodness is derived? If without a purposeful creation the universe cannot have objective purpose, meaning, or value, how does the creator of this universe have objective purpose, meaning, or value if they are not themselves a purposeful creation?
