Dr. Francis J. Beckwith
Francis J. Beckwith is Associate Professor of Church-State Studies, Baylor University, where he teaches in the departments of philosophy and political science and the Dawson Institute of Church-Studies. He is a graduate of Fordham University (Ph.D., philosophy) and the Washington University School of Law, St. Louis (Master of Juridical Studies). Dr. Beckwith has published extensively on a variety of topics including Roe v. Wade, intelligent design, and David Hume's philosophy of religion. His most recent book is Defending Life: A Moral and Legal Case Against Abortion Choice (Cambridge Univeristy Press, 2007).
