Don Miller
Donald Miller is the author of is the author of Prayer and the Art of Volkswagen Maintenance (2000), Blue Like Jazz: Nonreligious Thoughts on Christian Spirituality (2002), Searching for God Knows What (2004) and Through Painted Deserts (2005) in addition to articles written for numerous magazines. He is a frequent speaker on issues concerning the relevancy of Christ to the human struggle. Miller also leads an a small campus ministry at Reed College, which had the recent distinction of being ranked one of the "most godless" colleges in the country.
Don is the founder of The Belmont Foundation, a not-for-profit foundation which partners with local churches to create mentoring programs for young men growing up without fathers. You can learn more about The Belmont Foundation by visiting www.belmontfoundation.org
Don is currently working on a book about Adam Bybee, Adam's wife Kate, and their adopted mentally disabled adult Dagner. Adam is a performance artist whose work focuses on social justice issues. The book will be called A Map of Eden and will be released in late 2007 or early 2008.
