Reckoning with Evil

April 11, 2018 at 7:00pm / Urey Lecture Hall

A discussion on God, philosophy, and hope

University of Montana

In the midst of a world in which evil and suffering exist, where should one turn to find hope? Many people look to religion for hope, but is it reasonable to turn to God to find hope in the midst of evil and suffering? Join us as Dr. Samuel Newlands of the University of Notre Dame attempts to reckon with evil and chart some possibilities for finding hope in our world.
