Nietzsche was Right: the Christian Grounding of Our Morality?

February 12, 2019 at 1930

Arnold Auditorium in Mahan Hall

Philosopher, David Dudrick, will present a provocative case where he will investigate two related concepts. He will explain the development of modern moral codes and discuss how certain moral codes developed out of Christianity and he will creatively illustrate what moral codes might look like without the influence of Christianity or God. From this discussion, he will explore where we derive right and wrong to include the origins of human equality and what the logical opinions of a Christian/theist vs. an atheist would be on human equality.

Light refreshments provided.
