A Conversation on Faith, Pluralism, and Immigration
What Happens to a Dream Deferred?
A Conversation on Faith, Pluralism, and Immigration.
This year's Forum at Tufts University focuses on the current immigration policy discussions, with a specific view to how religious moral and ethical considerations can inform these questions. This event is intended to foster thinking on religious obligations in the public sphere, how worldview informs policies for immigrants and refugees both at the border and during resettlement, and how and if religious considerations should guide political decision making.
Jenny Yang, Senior Vice President of Advocacy and Policy at World Relief, will be in dialogue with Julian Cancino, Director of the Tufts Latino Center. The conversation will be moderated by David Coleman, Lecturer of Music and Director of the Gospel Choir at Tufts University.
