Boise State University

Professor Yenor earned a BA from the University of Wisconsin, and his MA and PhD from Loyola University Chicago. He writes on the Scottish Enlightenment, the relationship between reason and revelation, Alexis de Tocqueville, Willa Cather, and constitutional issues.  He is currently writing a book on the history of the family in modern political thought.  He lives with his wife Amy and his five children in Boise.
