Douglas Estes
California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo
20 January 2009
Critics of the life of Jesus have long pointed to 'historical inaccuracies' in the gospel texts, resulting in a great deal of debate over what is 'accurate' and 'inaccurate' in these accounts. But what if the real issue is not accuracy or inaccuracy, but instead a misunderstanding of the modern understanding of history? Join us as we explore and discuss the concept of chronology, history and theology in the ancient world as it relates to the life of Jesus.
