Richard Gale Ph.D.

Professor Emeritus of Philosophy

Richard M. Gale received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from New York University and is professor emeritus of philosophy at the University of Pittsburgh as of 2003. He has published extensively on metaphysics, philosophy of religion, and pragmatism. Among his many books are: The Language of Time; On the Nature and Existence of God; Negation and Non-Being; The Divided Self of William James; On the Philosophy of Religion; and God and Metaphysics.
