Bob Brick
Chair of Natural Sciences at Blinn College
Dr. Brick holds advanced degrees from the University of Hawaii and a bachelor’s from Texas Tech
University. Dr. Brick has taught biology and zoology, and served as
division chair at Blinn since 1995. He was appointed interim assistant
director of the Institute of Marine Biology at the University of Hawaii
and was principal investigator at the Oceanic Institute in Hawaii. He has also taught fisheries and aquaculture at Texas A&M
University.
Dr. Blinn founded a private company consulting shrimp farming in Texas and
South America. He has served as an adviser to the governments of
Pakistan and Indonesia regarding business and education in relation to marine science.
