Philip Kitcher

Dr. Kitcher studied mathematics at Christ's College Cambridge and holds Ph.D's in philosophy/history and philosophy of science from Princeton. He is currently the Chair of Contemporary Civilization at Columbia, and is continually applying his expertise in the analysis of such issues as the ethical and political constraints on scientific research, and the apparent conflict between science and religion.
