Jesus and Justice?

by » 5/19/2012 10:58:39 AM
"Justice" is one of Harvard's most famous courses, enrolling over 1,000 students every time Michael Sandel teaches it. But before "Justice," there was "Jesus," or more specifically, "Jesus and the Moral Life," the renowned moral reasoning course, which Prof. Harvey Cox taught for over twenty years. Cox began with the shared sense that Jesus was a great moral teacher. Do you agree? How would you summarize Jesus' teachings about justice, and are they still applicable to the moral dilemmas of today? Even situations such as nuclear proliferation, global warming, in vitro fertilization?
