Moral Mammals?

In their discussion at The Veritas Forum at MIT, atheist philosopher Peter Singer and Christian theologian John Hare disagreed on whether God is necessary for morality. Do you think morality can survive without God? How? Whatever your view of morality is, how can we find power to live life by those standards—and find forgiveness and reconciliation when we fail?
