Why does it seem as if science and faith are at odds? Are they really incompatible, or is there a deeper harmony? And how can we reconcile two such different ways of knowing?

I was debating that very same thing-I believe that ALL Science- or most of it-is from LUCIFER ( The Fallen Head Angel)- which is why so many Companies are named after him.Even Chaldean Magic- from Theosophy & the UN-has that NAME- but the G-d of Daniel was greater than the False gods of the WISE MEN of BABYLON!
Maybe the Highest Form of Technology??? is FAITH- creating from the Heart & Mind only??????
Those things that are Destructive are of SATAN- but LOVE & FAITH brings Miraculous Healing etc!!!!!!!!!
What G-d created-He had in HIS HEART????

I would like to further Clarify what I meant-True Science- like astrology-of Daniel did come from G-d- I believe.G-d gave us things in Heaven as Signs & He designed a Set Time & Season for everything. What is in Rebellion to G-ds' design- or is used for Destructive Purposes-is usually from the Dark Side of the Spiritual Realm.The Spirit is unseen- but millions have experienced things of the Spirit.Now- in Science- they Speak much of the 4,5th, & 6th Dimensions- even talking of Machines that Bend Time & the Speed of Light.Teleportation etc?
There are those whose ambition was the Know the Mind of G-d or to be as god.To be as "G-d" is no longer Faith.We are told to Trust G-d & Enter His Kingdom like Little Children???? The More knowledge we acquire- the Less dependant we become on G-d & become gods ourselves??? That is vs Faith.
How much knowledge are we allowed to acquire-wityhout being Childlike & trusting G-d- that is the Moral Question.
At CERN- they are trying to create Mini Universes- are they playing G-d? Is Terraforming Mars- playing G-d?
Changing G-ds' Set Times & Seasons is a rebellion vs G-d & is what LUCIFER did & still wants to do.

I just want to say I am extremely upset by your forum you held at brown university this weekend. what was advertised as "a thought-provoking discussion between two professors." turned out to be non-stop advertisement for Christianity by John Lennox.

The dinner after was horrible as well. What was advertised as "We welcome all worldviews and beliefs as we continue the conversation in seeking Truth." became a Christian centric and Christian dominant event orchestrated by Christian specific groups. There was no freedom to discuss worldviews, in fact, one of the dinner participants openly attacked religions that he did not follow. The discussion leader did not stop this attack of other religious views. This was an extremely biased event.
