Gerrit Benschop

National Coordinator – The Netherlands

Gerrit serves as national coordinator for The Veritas Forum in the Netherlands, where he coaches existing planning teams and helps develop new teams. As staff worker for the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES), he is also working with international students. In addition to holding an M.Sc. from Delft University of Technology in Electrical Engineering, Gerrit has also received an M.A. in Christian Studies of Science and Society from the Free University in Amsterdam.

Andrea Bridges

South Regional Director

Andrea serves as the Regional Director for the South, casting vision and building and supporting teams on university campuses across the region. Andrea received a bachelor's degree from Gordon College in Anthropology and Biblical Studies and a Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School. She has studied in Jerusalem, and worked with students in various capacities at Duke and through Blacknall Presbyterian Church. She lives in Durham, NC with her husband, baby and furry dog.

Ashley Byrd

Mid-Atlantic Regional Director

Ashley is the Regional Director for the Mid-Atlantic states, where he coaches existing planning teams and helps develop new forums in the region. Ashley helped start the Veritas Forum at Columbia University, where he also works as a campus staff member with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. Additionally, Ashley helps support sustainable development efforts in Gulu, Uganda with World Vision. Ashley earned his B.A. in Economics at Columbia University. He currently lives with his wife Carly in New York City.

Dan Cho

Executive Director

Dan serves as the executive director of The Veritas Forum and is working to lead the organization in its next stage of development. Dan's relationship with Veritas dates back to his freshman year at Harvard when he attended the very first Forum. He has served for over a decade in the college ministry of Berkland Baptist Church in Cambridge and has also worked in the development offices of Harvard and MIT. In addition to earning an A.B. from Harvard College in social anthropology, Dan has also received master's degrees from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and Yale Divinity School. He lives with his wife Stephanie in Cambridge, MA.

Jérémie Corbeau

National Coordinator — France

Jérémie Corbeau serves as National Coordinator for Veritas in France. He maintains the development of The Veritas Forum and also supports Veritas Dialogues, smaller Veritas events organized by French GBU groups. Jérémie earned his B.A in European Economy & Management from the University of Abertay Dundee in Scotland, as well as a degree in Economics from the University of Orléans in France in 2005 and a Masters degree in Managing Dynamic Organizations from Växjö University in Sweden in 2006.

Chris Hampson

Northeast Regional Director and Director of Content Development

Chris serves as the Northeast Regional Director and Director of Content Development, assisting planning teams throughout New England and refining our strategy for engaging life's hardest questions. Chris earned his B.A. from Harvard in the Comparative Study of Religion and was an active member of Harvard Christian Impact (CCC). Prior to joining the Veritas team, Chris taught inner- city students with TechMission and AmeriCorps and worked at the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office. He and his wife Cecilia live in Boston.

Janne Könönen

National Coordinator – Finland

Janne serves as the National Coordinator for The Veritas Forum in Finland. He has a master’s degree in history from Jyväskylä University and has studied theology at Helsinki University and journalism at Jyväskylä University. Previously, Janne served as editor-in-chief for a Christian news website, researcher in the History Department of Jyväskylä University, and journalist for the newspaper Keskisuomalainen. Janne lives with his wife Annika in Jyväskylä in Central Finland.

Kelly Monroe Kullberg

Founder and Director of Project Development

Kelly is the founder and director of project development of The Veritas Forum which she first organized at Harvard in 1992. She edited and co-authored the best-selling Finding God at Harvard: Spiritual Journeys of Christian Thinkers (1996) and taught senior electives at Harvard College in film and C.S. Lewis while serving as a chaplain to the Harvard Graduate School Christian Fellowship from 1988-1997. Kelly holds a B.A. in Organizational Behavior from Ohio University; an M.A. from the Ohio State University in Communication Theory. She was a visiting student at the Harvard Divinity School and at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Kelly lives with her husband David and children in Columbus, Ohio.

Katherine Leckie

National Coordinator - United Kingdom

Katherine serves as National Coordinator for Veritas in the UK assisting current planning teams and envisioning and initiating dialogue with new potential teams. She received a B.A. in Archaeology and Anthropology from Cambridge University in 2004 and as a student served on the Committee of the University's Intercollegiate Christian Union. Subsequently, she earned an M.A. at University College London and worked for a year with an IFES Interaction team in Stockholm, Sweden. Returning to Cambridge in 2007 Katherine recently completed her doctorate in the history and philosophy of prehistoric archaeology. She still lives in Cambridge with her husband Douglas and baby daughter.

Sora Lim

West Coast Regional Director

Sora is the West Coast Regional Director, providing support for local planning teams and overseeing development of new forums throughout the region. Sora earned both her B.A. in Art History and M.A. in Education at the University of Southern California. As an undergraduate, she helped organize the first Veritas Forum at USC. She has lived and worked in education in Los Angeles and Cambridge (United Kingdom), and has been involved with campus ministry since her freshman year. Currently, she serves as campus staff for Life Christian Fellowship. She and her husband Daniel live in Los Angeles, CA.

Rebecca McLaughlin

National Director of Forums – U.S.A.

Rebecca is the National Director of Forums – U.S.A., overseeing the strategic growth and development of campus forums in the U.S. Rebecca was born and educated in the U.K., studying English Literature at Cambridge University, at both the undergraduate and doctoral levels. As a student, she helped lead the university-wide Mission week and served as President of the Trinity College graduate union. Between completing her PhD and starting at Veritas, she gained a first class degree in theology from Oak Hill Theological College in London. Rebecca is married to Bryan, a native of Oklahoma, whom she met in Cambridge, UK. They now live in Cambridge, MA.

Sarah Park

Director of Publishing

Sarah Park is the Director of Publishing where she is leading the development of Veritas Forum Books, our publishing partnership with InterVarsity Press. Sarah received her B.A. from U.C. Berkeley, and J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she attended the very first Veritas Forum. After practicing intellectual property law in California, she moved to South Korea to start a campus fellowship at several college campuses while working at an international law firm. She then moved to the U.K. and earned a Diploma in Divinity at the University of Cambridge while her husband worked on his Ph.D. She currently lives in Pasadena, California, with her husband and three children and is active in the college student ministry at her church.

Rik Peels

European Director

Rik serves as the European Director for The Veritas Forum. Rik was born in the Netherlands and received bachelor and master degrees in theology and philosophy. He studied at the Theological University of Apeldoorn, the VU University Amsterdam, and the University of Notre Dame (IN, USA). He is currently completing a PhD thesis at Utrecht University (the Netherlands) on the ethics of belief. As an IFES-staffworker, he served for two years as the National Coordinator of the Veritas-forum in the Netherlands before he became the Regional Director of Europe. Rik is married to Marleen, who studies medicine and theology. They now live in Amsterdam and are active in the ministry of the Christian Reformed Church of Amsterdam.

Starr Peteet

Director of Strategic Partnerships

Starr serves as the Director of Strategic Partnerships for The Veritas Forum. Prior to joining Veritas, Starr served as the Director of Development at Boston Trinity Academy, an urban independent school, where she had also been on the faculty since its founding in 2002. She earned her B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology from Swarthmore College. Starr lives with her husband Josh and their son Findlay in New Haven, CT.

Becca Riegel

Senior Office Manager

Becca serves as the Senior Office Manager for The Veritas Forum, helping with a variety of administrative responsibilities in the headquarter office. She earned her B.A. in English Education from the University of South Florida. When not in the Veritas office, Becca serves as campus staff for The Navigators at Boston University. After recently traveling throughout Eastern Europe to explore ministry philosophies in that region, she is currently spearheading the development of a partnership between collegiate groups in New England and a number of European ministry organizations. She lives in Brighton, MA.

Sara Staley

Development Coordinator

Sara is the Development Coordinator at The Veritas Forum. Prior to joining Veritas, Sara worked with International Justice Mission as an Aftercare Fellow in their Uganda Field Office, creating new programmatic and funding partnerships to benefit victims of illegal property seizure. She has also worked in Fundraising Development at The Carter Center and as a social worker with low-income families in Chicago. Sara earned a B.A. in Counseling with honors from Moody Bible Institute and a Master of Social Work with high honors from the University of Georgia. She is currently working toward a Master of Theological Studies at Boston University, concentrating in conflict transformation and social ethics. Sara and her husband Jamie live in Christian community in Jamaica Plain, MA.

Linus Stråhlman

Co-Coordinator - Finland

Linus serves as Co-Coordinator for The Veritas Forum in Finland, Swedish speaking students in Finland. He also serves as an IFES student staff worker in Turku for Swedish speaking students. He currently studies theology at Åbo Akademi University in Turku, where he lives with his wife Rebecka. Both are active in the Lutheran Church in Finland and the Turku United Methodist Church.

Dana Tuckey

Midwest & Mountain Regional Director
Director of Operations

Dana is the Midwest & Mountain regional director for The Veritas Forum, where she guides and equips local teams to host Veritas Forum events. Prior to joining Veritas, Dana worked as an area director with Young Life, ministering to unchurched adolescents. She has also been educated abroad in London, Edinburgh, Dublin, and Galway, as well as on location at biblical sites in Israel and Turkey. Dana earned her B.A. in Psychology with high honors at Michigan State University. She currently lives with her husband Dave in Michigan.

Bethany Yu

Director of Communications

Bethany serves as Director of Communications for The Veritas Forum, where she coordinates the development and production of a variety of communications materials. Prior to this role, Bethany served as the Forums Coordinator at Veritas. Bethany earned her B.A. in American Studies from Williams College in 2003, and her master's degree in Church History from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 2009. She currently lives in Philadelphia with her husband and daughter.

Norman Yung

Director of Web and Media Development 

Norman was part of the founding team for Veritas at Columbia University and served the marketing initiative for the forum in 2005. He designed ads, flyers, and programs that reached out to the Columbia University campus. Since then, he has taken on the role of Director of Web and Media Development, developing the forum's media and web services. Norman received his B.S. in Computer Science from Columbia University in 2006 and currently works at a web marketing company in New York City.
